Scottish Thistles

We created some Scottish Thistle artwork using lots of different techniques.  First we used oil pastels and designed tartan for the background, then we used funky eyelash wool to make the thistle look jaggy.  Finally we fringed tissue paper to add to our sugar paper hands.  They look fab!

Tartan Design

We used Colour Magic to design our own tartan. We had to use different thicknesses of paintbrush and the fill tool to create the pattern. Finally we made them into bagpipes!

Tartan Art

We have been creating our own tartan artwork. First we designed tartan using oil pastels and paper and then we used the computer to make tartan, trying to use different thicknesses of paint tool. It was quite tricky. Leave a comment telling others how we made the Scottie dog art.
